Dinner begins at 6 p.m. with the director and experts followed by the screening at 7:17 p.m. An expert panel will be held at the conclusion of the film.

On Thursday, April 23, Chautauqua-Wawasee will host a discussion of these critical issues for a limited number of participants.  The discussion will include a screening of the international award-winning documentary, FIXED: The Science/Fiction of Human Enhancement, which investigates the drive to be “better than human” and the radical technological innovations intended to take us there.

 Following the screening will be a panel discussion.  Director/producer Regan Brashear will be joined by Indiana University Center for Bioethics director Dr. Eric Meslin and Pittsburgh Theological Seminary professor of theology and ethics Dr. Ron Cole-Turner.  Nathan Wilson, director of Chautauqua-Wawasee, will moderate the discussion and take questions from the audience.

Before the screening and discussion, there will be a buffet dinner during which audience members and participants have the opportunity to meet and greet.

 All events will take place in the Hilltop Conference Center of the beautiful Oakwood Resort, 702 East Lake View Rd, Syracuse, IN 46567.
